PROJECT: "Philharmonic Hall of Szczecin"
PROJECT AWARD: Winner 2015 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award
Marta Grzadziel was born in Wroclaw, Poland, in 1975.
In 2000 she graduated with honors from the Technical University in Szczecin, Poland. Her Final project won Main Price Małgorzata Baczko i Piotr Zakrzewski, 2000.
From 2000 till 2004 she worked with Ateliers Jean Nouvel in Paris, France. Collaborating in various projects, between them Concert House Danish Radio in Copenhagen, Denmark (2009), which was Finalist of European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Awards 2011.
In 2004 she moved to Barcelona and till 2008 she continued collaboration with Ateliers Jean Nouvel on projects situated in Spain, like Project of Luxury apartments – Life Marina Ibiza (2010).
From 2012 she works as Project Leader at Barozzi / Veiga in Barcelona. She was following construction supervision of the Philharmonic Hall Szczecin, Poland (2014), which recently won the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Awards 2015.
